As a heart-opening medicine, Cacao can help liberate us from fear, limitations, blockages and patterns that hold us back from living in alignment with our true nature.

A little History on Cacao

Cacao has a rich history of ritual and medicinal use in South and Central America. In the days of the Maya, Cacao was reserved only for the elite. When Cacao was de-fatted and made into large-scale cheap chocolate in the 1800’s, it ended the times of it’s sacred and medicinal use.

Intentionally drinking Cacao is a way of rediscovering Cacao’s ancient roots and honoring it again as sacred medicine. Cacao Ceremonies typically involve setting intention, prayer, song, gratitude and mindfully drinking the Cacao. I encourage you to drink it with your family this Christmas season with joy, laughter, love and an open heart!
